These balls are perfect if you are looking for something really hard to work out the knots in your muscles. When ever I have a long car trip or flight, I always make sure I take them.

I originally purchased these with the intent of using them as self massage by placing them under the back while laying on the floor and working them that way. Not so good for that. However, after playing with them for a day or so, I've found that you can use them while sitting in a chair or place them against a wall and then move them around on your back; feels great! They're also really good rolling them on the arms or legs, biceps, shoulders; even better rolling them around on someone else. Where I really love them is just when i'm toddling around on the computer, i have both under my desk and can work my toes and balls of my feet into them. The smaller one is great for the arch of the foot (i also have a lacrosse ball to work more direct pressure in the same manner). Highly recommend if you have feet issues.

Not much you can say about a simple Hedgehog ball. They are reasonably firm with just enough give to be comfortable. I use them primarily for my feet while working at a computer all day however I've also used them on my back and neck with excellent results. They arrived in a reasonable time as expected.

I had another ball similar to these. It was made of a bit softer plastic but was a bit harder to squeeze, thereby giving me a nicer massage for those cranial points. But the price on these was great. So I'll take the slight changes.

These are the best massage ball I have had, they are easy to use and can be taken everywhere and used anywhere. The massage ball works well for me, I use it for my painful knees and back. I seem to get relief from the use of the balls and seem to get a better night sleep.

This little baby has been a Life Savor for me! I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and have been suffering from it for over a year now. I've been twice to the podiatrist several times. The first time he gave me the big huge boots to sleep in...well that didn't really help at all. Then he gave me the shots which helped with the pain for about 6 month. Then I went back again for more shots. A friend of mine recommended this to me, so I bought it. I've used it every day several times a day. I take it to work and take my shoes off and use it under my desk. I can now wear dress shoes and shoes with a slight heal to work. I wish I would have known about this a long time ago!

This ball is so effective at targeting knots anywhere in the body - it is painful, and might leave marks, but that is to be expected. I have found this ball to be especially effective in loosening up muscles in my back between/around the ribs.

I bought this for my husband, who suffers from plantar fasciitis. He kinda said "Yeah, thanks" and tossed it aside. I finally convinced him to start using it in the morning before he gets out of bed and it only took a couple days to make him a believer! It's the perfect size to roll along his arches, and small enough to take with him when he travels. It has made a major improvement in the level of foot pain he deals with on a daily basis.

I regularly use this ball to help with plantar fasciitis and it works great. I recently decided to get a second ball to have at work or in another room. I ordered the exact same ball, but the one that arrived was softer and made of rubber, not hard plastic. I tried it out and could barely feel the spikes. This would be a nice foot massage ball, but it does not work if you need it to really dig in the fasciia.

I'm gonna say that this is not particularly useful for rolling out your foot. It is too soft and there are definitely better harder balls available that will get you better results. However, this surprisingly came in handy for rolling out my hand. I took a nasty fall onto my hand and injured the lower palm of it, and using this to roll my hand helped resolve my injury pretty damn well. The muscle/tissue I injured in the lower palm probably developed some fibrosis and was hurting chronically, but after rolling my hand for a month or so, I think I managed to break the fibrosis down with this ball and now I'm pain free.
